  1. Hi, im thinking to buy a internal soundcard for my pc that will have spdif output so I can record with the POD HD 500 by the spdif. The connetcion will be spdif from the pod, to spdif output of the internal soundcard. My questions are: It's that possible? the quality will be good?, also the studio monitors will be connected to the sound card by rca connections, so the sound from the pod will come through the monitors right? Thanks, and sorry for my english.
  2. Thank you all for the answers. One question: the POD have a mixer and there, there is an option to low the dB from it. That will help?
  3. Hello, i recently buy a pair of studio monitors with the idea of connect them directly to the POD HD 500. But I'm not sure about using the pod as interface, because: "how i'm going to know if my monitors are clipping?" I mean... non of this have an indicator... so, maybe i connect the monitors and they will broke. How can i use the POD without buying an interface?

    Connection

Hi there. I just buy a pair of krk rokits 5" and i didn't use them yet because i wanna be sure the connections i will going to do its ok. I have a Pod Hd 500 and the connection it will be: 1/4" out from the pod > to 1/4" of the krk directly. Its that ok? I have fear about breaking the krk's 'cause of the signal level or something like that, because non of this haven an indicator of the signal.
  6. Thanks to everyone... aparently the guys from the warranty are lying then...Thanks you all for the comments i really appreciate that, best whishes. (sorry for my bad speaking, english its not my natal leanguage)
  7. And how i adjust that? With the input gain?
  8. And you just plug your guitar to the "guitar in" in the pod, and the pod to the PA sistem through "1/4' out"? There's not an special configuration on the pod to do this?
  9. Hi there. I have a question about conecting my guitar to the pod and then directly to a PA sistem like this https://www.google.com.uy/search?q=Pa+system&espv=2&biw=1600&bih=799&source=lnms&tbm=isch&sa=X&ved=0CAYQ_AUoAWoVChMIrp2W0e_0yAIVwpYeCh2mbAIl#imgrc=HQYL5nE7QX0npM%3A I read in forums like this, that a lot of people use this conect and the result are pretty good. The thing is that I just buy a PA sistem an do that thing, and at the first it sound's good, but now the cage sound's fuzzy. I take it to the guaranty and they tell me that the PA sistem is not for that tipe of conection 'cause the speaker will break easily when i play things like rock, because of the gain. So... i dont know what to think, it's that true? the speaker just break because of my fault? there is specific way to sound through a PA sistem without a real guitar amp?
