Helix send-input looper helix return-output looper i think the confusion is thst i wrote what it actually says on back of the looper which is inst.inn.(instrument inn)

First wiring is correct. Look at picture in uploaded images regarding the looper.

yes the looped part gets mutes when i am not picking the guitar. I use a fender cyber twin amp.100w guitar-helix-helix send-amp input-helix out-amp return(i dont use send from amp)-send helix-output looper-return helix-inst.inn looper this is my wiring

Thank u alot i really appreciate your response,i use 4 cable method maybe that why i have the problem with my volume ?and u are right i meant changing presets,couldnt remember how to say it in English so i am sorry for my wrong way of saying that.

I use 4 cable method,so i presume i can still use the method of hooking up my wiring as u say ? bit the thing that my volume go down if i am not picking the guitar is very weird,have you ever heatd of that problem thsnk u for your tesponse i appreciate that alot

I just bought a helix floorboard,i am using a boss rc 30 looper,i use send and return to use the looper but when i use its like the volume goes down when i am not picking on the guitar,anyone seen this problem ? Is there snother way to hook up the looper so i can change track and still hear the looper,its irritating that i have to turn the looper on everytime i change the sound on the guitar. thank u if anyone will help me. i am from Denmark so i hope its clear what i write in English-lol
