Hello line6 forum, I am attempting to setup a dry wet duel amp with my HX Effects, some analog dirt pedals and a Simplifier X which is an analog duel amp. I am not sure if I am supposed to include the dirt in the wet loop or divert the mix L/R. Either way here is a diagram and Ive attached the patch I am using. Is there anything I am doing wrong? Hey there! It sounds like you want to employ the 4CM method with the HX FX in the effects loop of the Nux? If so it sounds an awful like my setup on my Simplifier X. Here is the manual spot that helped me out a ton and check out my post on the matter from earlier this year. Its not exactly 1:1 what you want to do (because I was running two parallel amps) but if you copy the AMP A routing you should be fine!

No there is no problem! Its behaving as expected I just wanted to see what the split paths did with a send 1/2 and main l/r and how that differs. Thank you for all your help!

This is I believe what I have with this preset. I was playing around with the routing within the HX after I double checked my cables and I believe this is correct. Now just to humor me I still dont understand how to achieve the split approach. Thanks so much for all your help though :) I have definitely achieved what I originally wanted: full parallel of the SimplifierX with independent FX for both channels from the HX FX. 7CM_Rythme.hlx

So is what I am trying to do even possible? I took another peak at the 17A 4CM:Clean Start preset template that Line6 provides and I dont see how it would turn the FX loops in stereo without the feeds getting crossed. Is that why when I turn off both FX blocks I still get a very quiet signal through the FX loops of the amps because theyre wired to the the end of the line outputs for the HX FX? I have the above image mimicked in my wiring I am unsure of how to set things into stereo like you described. Helix Input L/Mono : Guitar Helix Send 1 -> Amp Guitar Input B Helix Return 1 -> Amp FX B Send Helix Send 2 -> Amp Guitar Input A Helix Return 2 -> Amp FX A Send Helix Output L -> Amp FX B Return Helix Output R -> Amp FX A Return Once I fix the preset and cable routing I plan on putting the dirt pedals in front of the Amp Inputs for A & B.

I have a duel amp pedal that has the ability to switch between either channels A and B, combine channels A and B into a single mono source, or do two completely separate split mono amps with either completely separate effects loops per channel or a single effects loop going to both channels. This is the Simplifier X by DS&M Humboldt a absolutely fantastic device. What I am struggling with is setting up the HX Effects to take advantage of the two amps in a split signal path from a single source, aka the 7CM method (I can setup a 4CM perfectly fine with a mono source going into the amp in A||B mode). In the manual they have a picture using the HX Effects and it outputs to both left and right using two separate paths. However I cannot for the life of me split my signal chain into two separate paths. The best I can do is a Y split with the two effects loops panned left and right which works great for side B however side A is not outputting any audio and I get some signal crossover from B into A. 7CM_Clean Start.hlx If anyone could tell me what I am doing wrong I would appreciate it! I am a new HX FX owner and I absolutely love this thing.
