I have a Spider IV 75. Whenever I strike a note, I hear it and a second or two later it noticeably increases in volume. It happens on every patch and also if I select one of the green/red sounds from the 8 available with the knob.
I did a factory reset which didn't change anything. I did find out that if I start up while holding the tap button in test mode it behaves normally. The MP3 sounds good also, but the headphones have the same volume increase.
It has been very lightly used (probably less than 50 hours) but is old so the local line 6 authorized repair person didn't seem to want to look at it.
Any ideas would be appreciated since I can't think of any more settings to check.
