I play bass for the Altered Egos but originally thought I’d don a tux and strap on a tuba as a classical musician. My first love is still music though I spend my professional days at my own firm, WordWrite. To my wife's chagrin, our home is filled with instruments I've learned to play or that I'm tinkering with, from my dad’s old accordion (the answer to the question: What’s sexier than a tuba?) to trombone, ukulele, keys, guitars and so on. During what some might consider a mid-life crisis a few years ago, I was playing bass in three bands at once: country, rock, and R&B. I've settled down to one band, for now, Altered Egos. And I just may strap on the tuba for a future gig, so stay tuned … I did use it on a recording not too long ago!
