I just bought a Stomp XL and had the same issue. All presets were blank. Upgraded to v3.8 and still nothing. After a reset (C and D pressed during power on/boot) the presets are loaded. Strange that the firmware update didn't take care of this automatically, but at least I have something to work with now.
