My 10 YO Helix Floor has been experiencing output issues. When it occurs the volume out is drastically reduced, and the sound quality of my patches is severely degraded. I hear lots of digital artifacts/static, and the volume seems to ever so slightly increase and decrease, while the overall volume remains low.
I can fix this doing a factory reset and then restoring from a back up, but after a few days, it returns. Just now I tried some different out puts and noticed that I can also fix this using the phones output instead of the quarter inch and it seems like the right 1/4 inch also isn't effected, and oddly when I then return to the mono/left jack it temporarily healed itself.
This problem also occurred while gigging and using the xlr out, I thought it might be the volume knob so I had it replaces ($225!), but the issue continues. Any help is appreciated!
