I've noticed a significant drop in the volume of the reverse effect when fully wet and set to single repeat, from 3 to 5 db down. After trying numerous things including firmware updates and even downgrades, there is no change to the problem. Here's how I finally tested:
Set the knobs as such:
The Time knob is at its slowest (Max)
The Repeats knob is at Minimum (One repeat)
Tweak is minimum
Tweez is minimum
Procedure and Mix is as follows:
I feed a tone of 500Hz or 1kHz into the left input of the DL4 Mkii, measure the left output with a meter or scope, and calibrate the tone to read 0db when the Mix is fully Dry and the patch is on.
When Mix is at Minimum, I get the fully dry tone at 0db.
When Mix is at Maximum, I get the fully wet tone at -5db.
I've done this experiment on the original DL4 and there's no problem.
Has anybody else had this or noticed this problem?
If one of the engineers from Line 6 can answer it would be appreciated, but I think a firmware update would be needed in the end in order to correct it.
Thanks for your attention.
