I'm building backing tracks of popular songs just to practice to. Part of that is making a metronome cue track with vocal count ins and such, then marking them on the Helix using flags within Showcase mode. So far I've been dropping flags for both the count ins and the sections themselves. For example: Intro (count in) Intro Verse 1 (count in) Verse 1 Chorus 1 (count in) Chorus 1 [etc] This works great except when I want to loop a section for practice; the section runs into the next count in flag and cuts off the last bar. I could forgo the count in flags, but I find it helpful to jump around for practice. I could also use the cycle function, but I already have the section flags in place. If a count in function is coming via update (mentioned in the manual, currently greyed out on the UI), I imagine this could replace my count in flags and resolve this issue for me. Besides a potential 'count in' update coming, I suppose this is a feature request for the ability manually select which flag gets looped on, rather than only the next one in sequence. How are you using flags and count ins? How does this change for practicing?
