I am experiencing a critical issue with my Helix where the volume pedal and parameter values change automatically on their own.
Specifically, even when I set the volume pedal range from 0 to 100, it automatically shifts to an arbitrary range like 7 to 82. As a result, sound leaks through even when fully muted, and I cannot reach the maximum volume.
Furthermore, without even touching the physical volume knob, the screen UI displays the volume value decreasing on its own, as if someone is turning the knob. Occasionally, the gain values will also spike up out of nowhere, which makes it incredibly frustrating and unpredictable during live playing.
I have already tried a factory reset and made sure the unit is running on the latest firmware, but the issue persists.
Is this a known hardware defect (like a faulty potentiometer/optical sensor), or is there a way to fix this via a software update? I would appreciate any advice.
