  1. I've just started trialling some of the presets to be found in the custom-tone library. Uploads into my POD HD Pro are seemingly successful, but for some reason the bulk of presets aren't passing signal. I'm having luck with maybe one in four. Not sure what's going on. A quick troubleshoot and I can see i'm using the correct file types (well, I think I am - .h5e, .hbe or .hre... mainly .h5e due to the bulk of presets available), they're uploading into the Pro just fine, inputs and outputs are correctly designated, other custom-tone users are giving the presets decent reviews (indicating it's working for some), but select the patch and strum a chord and i'm hearing nothing. And VU meters indicate no signal is passing at all. Hmmm. Can anybody lend me some assistance here?
  2. Just curious. I've recently done a software overhaul jumping from OSX10.6/PT9 to OSX10.9/PT11. Seeking out an AAX update for Podfarm I see there's nothing available yet. Is AAX in the pipeline? If so, any ballpark time frames in which it can be expected to hit the shelves, so to speak?
  3. Here's my scenario. I use Protools and my main interface is a RME UFX. My POD HD Pro has AES in/out connectivity, so too my UFX interface. Whilst i've worked out how to send/record AES signal from my POD to my UFX/PT, i've not worked out how to create an AES loop. What i'd like to do is setup my POD HD Pro to use as a dedicated outboard FX processor - within an AES loop of connectivity so I can keep a signal 100% digital. I've used the dedicated AES pathways within the UFX, I can see signal is being sent, but for some reason I can't make the loop spark to life - i'm not getting any level on the way back in. I'm aware of the AES sub-menu in the POD Pro and i'm reasonably happy my settings are correct. I'm also well accustomed to sending signal to outboard gear, although connectivity is usually via line out/line in. AES is new to me. So I have a few questions - can AES be used in both directions concurrently on a POD HD Pro? Should the AES loop i'm trying to create be workable? Am I missing a piece of the puzzle to get this working? Thanks
  4. Problem solved. I found the 'digital outputs' menu a few days back, but I didn't realise you used the left/right buttons to access the deeper menu. AES selected, adjusted for a 48K output. Winning ;)
  5. I'm trying to figure out how to patch my POD Pro into my RME UFX via AES connection. At this point i've only tried to plug-and-play, but the result is very lo-fi. Do I need to configure my POD (or UFX) somehow? If so, what's the process? I'm not finding any appropriate menus when I scroll through the PODs config options.
