  1. Here's the list of items that I think would make this work (with some ingeniuity, wire splicing and a few plugs added): UI PCB for JTV-89 $66.00. http://www.fullcompass.com/prod/285235-Line-6-50-04-0085 Variax JTV69 Battery Holder $42.50. http://www.fullcompass.com/prod/234937-Line-6-50-04-0080 Jack Plate Assembly for JTV-59. $41.25. http://www.fullcompass.com/prod/215553-Line-6-50-04-0079-3 Model Knob for JTV-59P Variax. $10.00. http://www.fullcompass.com/prod/258330-Line-6-50-03-0074-3 Main PCB Assembly for JTV-89F. $128.00. http://www.fullcompass.com/prod/277278-Line-6-50-02-0320-4 Bridge PCBA With Cable For JTV89. $10.00. http://www.fullcompass.com/prod/248356-Line-6-50-02-0326 That's new components for about $300. Again, I've already got GraphTec piezos in the recipient guitar.
  2. I have a PRS Swamp Ash Special with GraphTec string saver piezos and the Hexpander system. Never been real happy with the acoustic sim from the Hexpander. Very much like the acoustic sounds of my new JTV-59. Considering "implanting" JTV-89f guts into my PRS. Calling this an "implant" because I don't think I need a "donor." Bridge is covered with GraphTec parts, like the 89f. Then I need 89f board and UI harness, jack, battery box and knobs. Can't seem to find the tuning knob, but the rest seems to be available on fullcompass.com for about $300. See any problems with my evil plan, other than the fact that this will involve taking a router to a genuine US PRS guitar?
