That makes sense. Presence is a DT25 setting you can set via MIDI CC 21 (for channel A). It's a little cumbersome, but that seems to do the trick.

The block has a rather large circle drilled out of it to allow the piezo cables to pass through it and into the CPU compartment. I'm not sure if the cables are long enough to be routed around a new block. I suppose an upgraded trem block could also have a large circle machined out of it, but that defeats the purpose of the upgrade.
