  1. Unfortunately, my Pod X3 Live is too unstable even to see what is in the signal chain for a preset. I'm trying to work out the Helix by ear and memory. I suspect that my memory is colored by a few years of creeping silicon rot and I know my ears are not what they used to be. I will see what I can find on the tone forums and continue to experiment.
  2. I have a Pod X3 Live and use a few of the Bass presets, mostly unaltered. Does anyone know of a table of rough equivalencies anywhere (on this or other discussion sites) that could guide me towards answering questions of the form "I was using 64 Bass on the X3, what presets should I consider on the Helix Floor?" Or failing that, is there a good way to tell which of the Helix presets are for electric bass? Thanks in advance for any help!
  3. I was starting to suspect that that might be the case. Thanks for the confirmation.
  4. I have a POD X3 Live that I'd like to connect to an iPad or iPhone via USB (using Apple's lightning to USB Camera Adapter.) I have a USB cable and the latest adapter; when I connect everything, the iPad (i.e. GarageBand) doesn't see the POD's audio output as input devices. My POD firmware is v2.01 and the USB version is 1.02. Is there anything else I should try? (I have a Variax Bass, and I would prefer to keep the signal path entirely digital.)
