Greetings all,
I'm in the market for a new recording interface, and I'm seriously considering the HX Stomp for all it's other features as well. I have a question about it's re-amping function that I'm having trouble finding information on anywhere else - hopefully one of you has tried this.
In my project studio (just me using it). my guitar input setup will be as follows:
1. Guitar to HX instrument input (mono, in the back).
2. HX send to the input of a Fuchs Blackjack 21 amp.
3. Fuchs speaker output to a reactive load.
4. Reactive load output to the return of the HX
5. USB out to DAW.
Granted, this is a modification of the 4-cable technique, but apparently it has been successfully done.
Now, here's the re-amping part.
1. Will the dry guitar track have the Fuchs tone in it? I'm guessing not, because the send/return block will be turned off - am I wrong?
2. Assuming I'm right, while re-amping, the input to the HX from the dry guitar track will be set to USB 5/6.
3. If the send/receive block is turned on, will the signal go out to the Fuchs and receive the amp tone on the return?
If the answer is yes, that is a huge plus for the HX.
Thanks in advance for your help!
