Wondering if someone could help me create a Japandroids tone (they are essentially are doing what Local H did). I'd like to be able to turn the bass on and off. I'm assuming I need to create a separate signal path for the lower octave. Do you think the Helix can handle this without getting too warbly? I'll be running direct into a PA. Thanks!

Thanks DI! Once I realized I needed to change the MIDI channel, I was good to go. You all nailed it with the Helix. I couldn't be happier.

I'm hoping someone out there smarter with this stuff than myself could help me out. Despite my best efforts, I'm struggling to setup the Helix as a controller for Logic. Ideally, I'd use the top row buttons to always control: record/stop/play/create new track etc. What I'm hoping to accomplish is to be able to essentially create loops but with isolated tracks for each pass. I'd: record a few measures/create an identical track/record on the new track/repeat as desired. I'd love to do this without touch my computer. Possible? If so, could someone walk me through the steps on both the helix and MacBook? Thanks!
