1/4" helped save my gig but that alone didn't "wake up" the VDI. Battery was in good charge. So do I gather this isn't "widespread" and "well known"?

As stated, when I use my JTV-59 plugged into a Helix floor via the VDI if I pause or stop playing--even relatively briefly--the JTV powers down and I haven't figured out how to "wake it up." Sometimes it will; mostly it won't. Any ideas, suggestions, or fixes?
