I have sorted it out. I deleted the CC event and just used the pc to select the preset. It is now working as I need. I appreciate everyones help. Thanks.

Hi, Sorry for the delay in replying. I don't want to use an external controller. I wish to use a midi item before the song so the playhead will trigger the events and select the preset. I hace successfully got the CC/PC to work but everytime the event is triggered it toggles beween factory and the user setlist. test.mov

I have a question regarding controlling Helix native with a midi item CC/PC messages in Reaper. I have successfully got it to select the playlist CC32 and preset PC (09) as per the documentation but when triggered by the timeline it toggles between factory and user playlists. Am i missing something somewhere?
