Bought a used JTV-69 and when first plugged in, it did power up a couple of times but then nothing even with ethernet cable going into a Helix LT. Bought new batteries but guitar still only shows 3 out of 4 indicators next to battery cavity.
Whoever owned this before me had extra heavy strings on it which needed to be replaced before it could be tuned to standard tuning with the Graphtech bridge in the right position, level with the guitar top. Had to have a friend who has worked with these forms of bridges do it. He knows nothing about Variax's (obviously I don't either).
Any help and suggestions are appreciated. Especially if there is somewhere I can send it to have it repaired.
