This thread is nothing more than a helping hand to those of you who are thinking of moding your Variax 700. I took all the variax electronics out and saved it for another project. This baby now has my favorite body and neck with 2 seymour duncans on it. In case you are wondering what pickups to use here is what I did. 2 Volume knobs, 2 tone knobs, 3-way switch You will not believe the sound of that guitar and the playability. Have fun! Cheers
