Good for you. I actually prefer turning knobs on the pedals I used the most without having to navigate through menus. The HX Stomp is to provide modulation effects I use sparingly and amp cab simulation so I don’t have to be carrying amps.
The question is not about the physical chain it’s about the patch.
instrument input - amp/cab - modulation - send/return - output
maybe an eq and a compressor at the end.
I explained the physical chain for context and how it relates to the patch. It’s my first time setting up digital patches on a multieffects. That’s why I asked…
yes, connecting everything makes it sound. Doesn’t mean it’s right.
What I want is for the HX Stomp to be my modulation effects and amp/cab modulation. To set it up I would set the patch like this?? All in mono for now.
Instrument input - Amp/Cab or Preamp - Modulation effects - Send/Return loop - EQ - Compressor - Output
Maybe EQ followed by compressor at the end to even out and tighten up.
Does this make sense??
Would you set it up differently?
I got the HX Stomp for it to provide my modulation effects and amp/cab simulation going into an FRFR speaker
My pedal chain
Going into HX Stomp instrument input
Peterson Strobestomp HD - Hotone Soul Press 2 Wah - Keeley Compressor plus
- MXR Poly Blue Octave/Fuzz - Ibanez TS9 - Fullone OCD - EHX Big Muff Pi Wicker to HX Stomp Input
Line 6 HX Stomp Send - TC Electronics Flashback 2 - Boss RV6 - Return to HX Stomp
HX Stomp to Boss RC10R to FRFR Speaker
What I want is for the HX Stomp to be my modulation effects and amp/cab modulation. To set it up I would this??
Instrument input - Amp/Cab or Preamp - Modulation effects - Send/Return loop - Output
Does this make sense??
