I have a HX Stomp XL. I bought the Mission Engineering Pedal (line 6) and the suggested Y cable. I was getting the 0-100-0 thing in the pedal sweep (drove me nuts) I attached a "Hosa YPP-117 Stereo Breakout Cable - 1/4 inch TRS Male to Left and Right 1/4 inch TS Female" cable. Problem solved.
