My DL4 is in a plastic bag. A bag of loose parts from trying to fix it again. It won’t power up. It’s been there for years! I put it on the shelf out of frustration. I’ll bet there are thousands of DL4’s on the shelf.
The only reason I’m posting here today is to refute Line 6 assertion that “we’ve sold so many and there aren’t that many negative posts here “. Why do you think you would get a post from every failed DL4 user? Why do you think you read about so many users that have 4-5 DL4’s? Because it is a great pedal, thank you! And because it is notoriously unreliable.
It is a great pedal with so many capabilities. Hours of fun! Until you really need it. On stage or in the studio it will stab you in the heart. What good is a great pedal it doesn’t work? It’s useless. And because of Line 6 reponses I’ve seen for this product and others I will not trust Line 6 with any of their products to be on my pedalboard. My friends say hey buy a Helix their great! Yes they are but I need to know they will work when I need them and I don’t trust Line 6 to deliver.
