Ok, So I have tried updating (downgrading?) the Java runtime to Version 6, used pacifist to install to get past the version check, but I get an unsatisfied link error:

Anyone have any thought on what I can do to get around this?
I'm attempting to use this with a PODX3 Live and a Variax 600 6-string and a Variax 700 bass on OS X El Capitan, iMac 27, 8Gb RAM.
