I thought, that if you use your POD HD500x direct with a PA System the unit is supposed to sound better wir the power amp sim on. But I found out that the HD sounds better if you use the pr Models even when you use a PA. The Sound ist louder, more direct and powerful. Can somebody explayn why the power amp sim softens the tone and makes it weaker that the Pre Models?
