Well, I seem to be talking to myself, but I think I figured it out. The dry signal wasn't being recorded well enough. It was too weak, so reamping a weak signal didn't yield great results. I got the DI box going and now it's working fine.

When I moved the Treble knob on the DT25, it seemed to break the cycle and now it all works.
What strange things technology does!
