  1. Mr_Arkadin's post in Cant update flash memory of POD HD 300 was marked as the answer
V2.01 is the latest for HD300. There are no newer versions.
  2. Mr_Arkadin's post in Pod XT Pro. Couple of questions was marked as the answer
Almost certainly a dodgy pot. The difficult solution would be to either try and clean it or replace it.

The easy thing you can try is to give the pot a good turning quite quickly in both directions. This may hopefully 'clean' the pot enough to stabilise it.
  3. Mr_Arkadin's post in Metal Pack - Transfer from POD XTLIVE to HD500x was marked as the answer
Not possible, they're not the same packs. You can demo the HD pack and if you don't like it get your money back within 30 days.

Line 6 Monkey is showing the firmware for the FBV. You need to use the 'change device' button and select your SpiderIV, then you will see whether the firmware is up to date (I suspect it won't be).
  5. Mr_Arkadin's post in Flextone III+ Shortboard Connection Problem was marked as the answer
That's a mod by someone. You can see the remains of the square RJ socket underneath.
  6. Mr_Arkadin's post in POD questions - regarding original POD was marked as the answer
    1. No. Only the Line 6 FloorBoard or FB4 (? not sure) will work. Unplug the FBV.

    2. Don't know, I'll have a dig around

    3. I think Pod 1 will only work with the long gone SoundDiver. Try this link for a possible solution:

    4. No. It is a CAT-5 connector but it is not Ethernet protocol. Do not plug in any computer or other Ethernet device.

Check that it hasn't been updated to 2.0:

Q: How do I find the current version of the POD EPROM?
A: To find the current version of software installed in your POD, press and hold the MANUAL button while turning on the POD. The display will first read "POD" and then the software version will follow. Continue to hold the button until the preset shows up and you will be sure to see the complete version. Upon normal power up, it will only show version 2.0.
  7. Mr_Arkadin's post in Hd500x Not Recognised In License Manager was marked as the answer
You cannot use any model packs in the HD series, if that's what you're trying to do. The XT and HD series are completely different software architecture.
  8. Mr_Arkadin's post in Dt25 Firmware Update And Non-usb Midi was marked as the answer
No you're fine. The reason it says that is most guitarists don't seem to have MIDI ports but do have a USB port.
  9. Mr_Arkadin's post in Pod Pro + Outboard Effects + Spdif = Help was marked as the answer
As you've found out the fx loop is just before the analogue output, so won't appear on the S/PDIF output. I always thought having the fx loop at the end of the chain was a bit pointless tbh but I guess the reason is that the unit would need another DA/AD convertor to get it to the digital out.
  10. Mr_Arkadin's post in Pod Hd Pro X And Old Longboard A No-go For Sure? was marked as the answer
No the FloorBoard will not work with the HD series. In fact there has been the XT and X3 series since then that also do not work with the FloorBoard.

You need one of the newer series FBV boards, probably this one would do for you:

  11. Mr_Arkadin's post in Pod Pro <--> Pod Hd500 was marked as the answer
You can't. They are completely different technology and architecture. You will need to create new tones on the HD.
  12. Mr_Arkadin's post in Dots was marked as the answer
The only dots you need are those ones on the chord diagrams:
