Hi everyone, I'm hoping someone can help me set up my rig. I've been using the Helix floor for a while and love it, but sometimes I just love a real amp. Ive got a Friedman Plex which sounds amazing but has no fx loop. So I'm using a Fryette Powerstation to use effects in its loop. Lots of videos on YouTube with people doing the same. Whatever I do the volume is really low or nothing at all? I'm using the Powerstation as a load into a 2x12 and want to use at least the time based effects but would love to be able to use a boost as well. Can someone tell me how to connect this up for best results, 4CM or other please? I'm obviously missing something. Thanks.

thank you. I have just found the problem. The amp loop is U/S. New amp so didn't suspect that.

hi loop is switched on and set to loop 1. I can turn on and off effects after the loop but makes no difference. there is no effect after the loop block that works?

Thanks for the replies. I have checked and re checked the cables. I will check the loop is switched on in the preset. I was assuming that because if it was a factory preset that it would be turned on by default? Cheers

I apologise in advance if this has been covered before. I am a new HX Effects user, got the unit yesterday. I set it up for 4 cable and then went to a 4 CM preset. Everything before the loop, distortions etc come through, anything after the loop in the chain like delay does not. Using HX Edit I can move the loop function after the delay and it comes through. I have checked all cables and they are in the right places. Can anyone tell me where I'm going wrong. Thanks in advance.
