yeah... that was the standalone Mac version of 1.12. As mentioned, I can't seem to do it through Monkey because it only gives the option of downloading "the latest" POD Farm which is 2.5-something. It's probably just an issue of the software developers not wanting to continually support and build drivers for each new OS release (as a developer myself... I can't really blame them). That is the risk you take with these kinds of software based modeling packages.
I figured since I couldn't get the Line 6 stuff to work I would reinstall Guitar Rig 5 and give that a go. It installed fine, but no output. Apparently Native Instrument decided to put the Guitar Rig Mobile driver on their "no longer supported" list once OSX Sierra came out.
I guess as long as people go in to these software based modeling packages knowing that they need to dedicate a machine that can't be upgraded in the future so it must stay on the same OS in the long run for future compatibility and functionality, they'll be alright.
I haven't owned a PC in over 8 years and we haven't had any of our Macs go bad during that time so I unfortunately don't have an old extra Mac just lying around with an older OSX on it. I'm just S.O.L. It's no bigs... I just remembered I had that little TonePort and thought it would be fun to hook it up and give it another go.
