  1. Thanks, I'm looking...UK based if anyone has one they want to part with. Cheers, Mike
  2. Hi, I part-exed my pod x3 bean for a pod hd and regretted it pretty soon. I simply cant get the same sounds even after 6 months or so. I'm trying to buy a used Pod x3 bean but there doesn't appear to be many around but there's quite a few x3 live units. Are the patches that I have saved from my x3 bean completely compatible with the x3 live or is there a difference in the way the sounds in each unit is produced? Thanks, Mike

    Reamp?

Well, I didnt want to get too techy so this is what I did. I copied the track over to Cubase in my laptop and ran a line out to the Pod, messed about with the sound for a half hour till I found what I wanted and recorded it back into cubase on my PC, worked a treat. Mike

    Reamp?

I have a guitar track in Cubase that's not sounding as well as can be expected. The performance is exactly right so can I somehow link my recorded track to the input of my Pod HD? The soundcard is an Emu 0404. Ta, Mike
  5. Aah, thanks mate, worked a treat. Cheers, Mike
  6. Hi, I want to set the wah position (without using the pedal) to use as a filter but the "postion" on the page wont light up. Is it possible to do this? I know I could use a filter but I prefer to do it this way if possible. Thanks, Mike
  7. I've been trying for a couple of days to make a sound of an old patch I had in pod x3 which I no longer have, I'm not really getting very close but still have the gearbox settings. Guitar was a LP standard on the treble pickup I believe. I've attached a sound clip of the patch from a recording and 2 pics of the gearbox settings. Anyone fancy having a go at reproducing it on the Pod HD Desktop (or any HD model)? Thanks Mike elec1.mp3
  8. OK. found the reason, I'm using an older FBVExpress to change patches which it does fine but when connected via the rj45 cable to the pod HD Edit freezes if you alter any amp settings. (other settings are fine) Pull the cable out and it un-freezes... I'll try a different cable tomorrow just in case. Anybody come across this situation before? Ta Mike
  9. I am not using a hub and have tried all the ports except the front. I have installed the drivers and software on another pc and I'm getting exactly the same behaviour. Still waiting for my support ticket to be answered.
  10. Hi silverhead, Thanks for the reply The Emu is a pci card not usb. The only other usb devices are a Cubase dongle and a card reader. Mike
  11. Hi everyone, When using hd edit, sometimes when moving a knob within hd edit the program freezes. If I then turn a knob on the pod the program unfreezes until I move a knob on the program, then it freezes again. I have reinstalled the drivers and program and changed usb slot. I've launched a support ticket but wondered if anyone here has had the same thing happen? Specs below, Thanks for any help, Mike Pod HD desktop (bean) i7 3.3ghz, 8mb DDR3, Emu 0404, Win 7 x 64
