farm

I've been recording with my UX8 for a long time on a xp computer with sonar 4 and have little trouble with digital clipping especially when I use pod farm 1 and a compressor that helps chill out the peaks. My UX8 works perfectly when mixing and other things on the windows 8 machine. I can record with all 8 tracks, but I get unmarked peaks. As in, the record meter does not go red but when I listen back I get digital clipping/distortion. What happened? Windows 8.1 lenovo core i5 8gb of ram
