Question for those in the know:
1/4 OUTS SIGNAL DROPS
Helix 2.81 (but also happened in 2.71)
Path: Guitar —> Helix —> Left/mono or right (tested both) 1/4 out to amp (also tested to console).
On any given patch, sometimes if I don’t play the output disappears completely as if there is a noise gate.
I have to hit the guitar strings (sometimes several times) to “wake it up”.
If I unplug and replug the output cable the sound comes back (also tested the cable itself of course, as well as the guitar: not the issue).
It is completely random. Output on all patches is set to “Multi”. This also happens on “empty” presets/patches.
This does NOT happen with the XLR outs - but I use the Helix mostly direct to my amp.
Issue with the 1/4 outputs? Anybody had this before?
