First off, hello everyone!! I am a new Helix Rack/Controller owner, but I am not new to Line 6. I have been using (and still regularly use) a POD Pro (or a kidney bean 2.0) since they were first released. I am greatly enjoying my Helix!!! Anyway, I have a very specific question. In the old Line 6 products if you used a model of an amp that had no mid control (like a deluxe reverb, for instance) you just put the middle control at noon and the model functioned like the real thing. How does Line 6 treat that issue in the Helix? I am using the Dr. Z model in one of my patches and I went and checked out what the real amp looks like and what controls it has. Again, it is an amp with no middle control. How should I set the mids in my Helix to accurately coax the tone from that particular model? Thanks!!

Hey guys I'm new to using forums and such so be nice lol. I've recently bought a Spider iv 15. Wanna know if any other forum users out there happen to know or roughly know of some amp settings for the following bands. All time low. Yellowcard. Beartooth. Pvris and Against The Current. My new band members want to cover/practice a couple of their songs until myself and the other guitarist get around to buying a stack or larger amp and we get around to writing our own material. Usual format please Channel used: Drive: Bass: Mid: Treble: Channel volume: Effects 1: Effects 2: If it helps at all I'm running a "Midnight Sapphire" Les Paul 1960's tribute with Gibson humbucker pickups and I'm looking into getting either a Fender Telecaster or PRS Mira in the near future. No stupid replies like all knobs turned to zero and get a new amp son on so forth, just a straightforward answer would be appreciated. Thanks! JT

I have a mesa boogie stereo amp setup and i love the sound of it and dont want to color the sound using my hd400 when i want just the amp tone (and i dont want to change it at all)the hd400 which i also love but how can i make a preset that does not effect my normal amp tones no change at all to my amp tone i want to be able to create patches that start with my clean tone (boogie) be able to use a patch (hd400) then go back to the cleanor overdriven boogie n use my seperate boogie footswitch for overdrive using the amp only as well as be able to switch back and forth between hd400 patches at will. When i use the fx mode (hd400) and i bank up or down it doesnt go back to fx only it stays in bank up or down mode only( green mode only i think)any help would be greatly apprecc thanks this has really limited my use of the hd 400 in my rig and i know its capable of s foro much more than i am using it for and really want to take full advantage of the pod pls help ron garf
