    Just bought my HD500X and JTV today along with Cubase Elements 7. Variax is wired to HD500 directly. HD500 is USBed to PC and then I hear ( sound back through Headphones plugged into HD500. Cubase sees sound levels when Variax strummed. I have a single track midi track setup on cubase with input assigned to All Midi or Line 6 POD 500X. Output says Microsoft Wavetable Synth. However, when I record no midi from the Variax is captured. I am probably being a dufus. Any clues (I have this kind of thing before) Thanks
