    I've set all our monitor sends to unlink (old dog, new tricks) so my monitor sends are prefade, But where does the monitor send tap in to the input channel processing? IE does all the channel processing also apply to the monitor send? Noise gates, compressors, etc? I personally hate having a compressor on my monitor path, no faster way to burn out your voice by having the system turn down your voice when you sing a bit louder.. As well, I have serious doubts about getting a correct compressor trigger threshold in a live performance, but that's a separate debate.. Thoughts?
