  1. I bought a used PODxt some time ago mainly because of the included power supply, since I have an Atom amp with POD-dock and already had a POD in it. This 'new' POD however is a bit tricky: If I have anything plugged into either headphone or outputs, I hear an extremely loud scream from it. The screaming lasts for 5-10 mins, when it seems to dissapate. During the 'screaming' I can't even use the built in tuner. Once the screaming has finished it works as would be expected, but if I don't remember to unplug any used output, before turning it off, it again gives a scream - even though much shorter (only a second or so). This screaming happens with the POD mounted in the amp as well as when powered by the power supply. I suspect a faulty capacitor or something similar, but I nothing is blatantly visible. I've opened it up, but as far as my untrained eye could see, everything looked normal. No visible burning or shortage on the board. Has anyone else experienced this, and is there a cure? Regards, Eiler Hansen, Faroe Islands.
