    Hi fellow musicians, Has anybody tried using the ZOOM G3 together with the HD500? I used to have a MXR EQ as a global EQ but it got stolen along with my HD500 and guitar :angry: I have replaced the guitar with a better one and the HD500 with the HD500X but still miss my global EQ. I first thought I would just get a new MXR but stumbled on the ZOOM G5, which is about € 20,- more and has two EQ's on board next to many, many more effects. It can have 6 effects in the chain of which three will be used as individual stompboxes. I am thinking about putting it in the effects loop at the end of the chain. This way I can have my global EQ and three extra effects in my chain. I would like to hear your thoughts about this idea. Even better would be if anybody has tried this and can share his/her experiences. Regards, Tal Wilkins
