summertupelo
Hi, I've been playing acoustic guitar for years and years but have only ever dabbled in electric guitar. I've played it some, but have never bothered messing with pedals much at all, besides a wah. I'm in a cover band now (of lots of different genres) and have acquired a Pod XT Live. I want to know the best/easiest way to change the settings so the tones best match the sounds from each song we're covering, save the settings as song titles, and just be able to step on one thing at the beginning of each song to move through each preset tone. This is being harder to figure out than I hoped; the manual has all kinds of information that is totally superfluous to what I'm wanting it to do, but it's hard to sort through to find a good answer. So. Help?
BillBee
The easiest way is to use the XTL connected to your PC and use Gearbox for editing. Customtone should have most of the cover tones needed so you can DL one open it in Gearbox (hope its close so you won't have to edit much) and then save it to the XTL user slot of your own. The Gearbox manual will help you from there. -B
