pudge211
Hello I have a Spider II 15 watt. I use it sparingly and this week I used it twice and it smelled "hot" even though it wasn't pushed very hard. I just turned it on and after about two minutes the sound cut out and smoke stated pouring from behind the circuit cover. I opened the cover and plugged the amp back in to see where the smoke was coming from and found it is coming from the amp IC. I can make out TDA20 on the amp IC but the right half got red hot and looks like ash. I found TDA2030's and TDA 2030a's online.. Can anyone shed some light on which one I need to order for a replacement??? Thanks in advance Joe
