TM156 Posted June 13, 2015 Share Posted June 13, 2015 Hi Folks, long time no post. My XT Live has been (for about 5 years) generating only hum on one channel. The other channel works flawlessly so I have just limped along. I have an XT Pro too so it's not ever been a true problem. I just want to fix it. What would create hum on just one side? Not just hum, but ONLY hum, and nothing but hum? I am thinking bad jack is grounding or is so near ground nothing gets past the short. The hum sounds like the hum you get when plugging your guitar in with your rig running... which is why I think "jack" is the problem. Thoughts? Thank you.
