schrismer
Hey All, I have a large outside gig coming up and I'm trying to thinking things though here, my question is How can I can some "thump" to my gig? Here is my set up right now: Right side- (2) L3t on top of (2) L3s (1) L3t Flown above angles down a little Left side- (2) L3t on top of (2) L3s (1) L3t Flown above angles down a little My question is I'd like to add some sub's from my old PA system under and in the middle of the stage, so should I feed the signal from the snake first into the old cross over that feed the power amps/old subs and then signal out of the crossover to the first L3s (then they will all be L6 linked) hope that make sense, any feedback would be great! Sonicstudios
Wouldn't recommend mixing and matching subs. You'll probably get nodes and dead spots. Grab more L3S' if you can. 4 L3S should be pretty beefy, but depends on how big the show is.
BucF16
I've done some medium outdoor shows on half that setup. I think you need a pretty big gig to demand more than that.
