feet2oofast Posted September 20, 2015 Share Posted September 20, 2015 Hey ya'll, It's been a long time since I've been around here but I've never stopped playing (or enjoying L6 gear). I don't want to fuss (since I haven't even gotten my already ordered Firehawk FX yet) but from reading all the reviews/forum posts I can't help but wonder: Why no PC editor and why no Workbench compatibility? I get that there is an android editor (though some folks seem to be having problems with it's bluetooth connectivity). This is one of the major drawing points to the unit for me. I just wish there was a way to connect to my computer and edit both the Firehawk and Variax. Which brings me to my next issue... Some of us still have the older Variax's!!! They are still great! I have a 700 and was really bummed when I realized that in order to edit both my patches on the Firehawk and the deeper functions of my Variax, I will need the Firehawk with tablet/phone/etc), my guitar, my HD500 and my computer... unless I'm just overlooking something, that's a huge loss in ease of use for the end user. So if you happen to work for Line 6, or know someone who does, WE (at least I lol) would like Workbench compatibility and a PC editor. Like I said above, I am definitely looking forward to getting the unit and some of the new goodies L6 have included. I just wish they didn't come at the cost of ease of use for the older products.
