How to plug your iPod into the helix if you have Variax?

OK I am very happy with my Helix, but I did really enjoy being able to play backing tracks through my Firehawk.

So, When I got my helix, I bought a Bluetooth receiver with an SP DIF out so I could use the SP DIF input on the helix to hear the backing tracks. Or so I thought...

However, didn't work and after reading the manual twice I found a small throw away line that the variax input disables the SP DIF input.

So now, I was wondering if I could use something like the loops or something to get the stereo output from my Bluetooth receiver RCA's into the helix?

It's fairly common for devices to resolve to a single digital clock, and therefore digital input. If your bluetooth adapter has analog line-level outputs, yes, they can be plugged into Return 1/2 or 3/4 stereo. You'll want to set the connected returns to line level here: Global Settings > Ins/Outs > Page 2.

Yes, but I have devices where I can input several digital devices at once. Anyway. I assume that an RCA audio output is line level right?
