mtsalmela80
I have a pod 2.0 with a Floorboard that I have been using for effects. I recently bought a rack effects unit and am looking for the cheapest possible way to control the unit via midi. I read somewhere that a pod 2.0 will transmit midi signals through the midi in/out when a floorboard is connected. So I want to try to connect the pod to my rack unit using midi cables, while at the same time keeping the floorboard connected to the pod, so that in theory when I hit something on the floorboard a midi signal will get sent to my rack unit, as long as that takes place I can probably program it to some extent to switch patches, etc... Does anyone know if this is possible, or has anyone tried it/done it for that matter? I just dropped $200 on the rack unit and cannot afford any midi controller, and I have all this line 6 hardware so I figured maybe its worth a shot. cabell64
You're a freaking genius! I would have NEVER even tried this. I've had SO many MIDI controllers, and just got the longboard again this week. Thanks for pointing this out.
