I have read a lot on the 4 cables method, etc but i havnt been able to make my gear right: My preamp is a Engl e530 / i use the poweramp section of a RD5H Randall head (still waiting for a poweramp), but don't think that s an issue. Like a lot of people, i want to use my podhd500x only for FX (i bought it in first place for using it like a preamp but had a deal on the engl and felt in love with it). To connect the randall to the poweramp, i use the randall return of the fx loop into right line out of the engl. I really try to follow step by step the 4 cable method but...nothing but noise or ...well just nothing. Do you have any idea ? Is someone here using e530 + podhd500x ? I am about to sell the pod...
