unerhij
Hi there, New to Helix and loving it. I am trying to create a Brian May patch and the one thing I am struggling with is getting his delays to work. ultimately I want to hear the original signal followed by a delay @ 800ms then a second one at 1600ms. Could somebody point me in the right direction please?
DunedinDragon
I think all you need to do is adjust the delay time to 800 ms and the reduce the repeats to the level that you only get two of them. That would place the second (and final repeat) at 1600ms. It might actually be easier to time this using the tempo feature and set the delay time to the appropriate note (1/4, 1/2, or full note). WickedFinger
Dual delay, simple, adjust the L 800, R 1600, repeats to suit. Can also stack two single delays, many ways to config. If you run a split path you can put a mono delay on each side. Make several presets using different methods and choose the best. Now you know why it takes me all day to render a single preset but man when it is done, wow, tones are incredible. I saw a May preset somewhere on the Custom tone share site you might see what they did.
