satjmoreno
Dear colleagues, I am the manager of a small pro audio workshop and I have on my bench a M20d for service. When the customer brought it, he supposed (as I did) that it was a power supply issue, because the fuse was ok. Then, after collecting all the information required I have opened the equipment to do some test and as soon as I got the cover open I found the power supply led was on. This means nothing to me as even if the led is on, that does not mean that the voltage is ok, but it was on its level. Furthermore, I began to check all the different regulators distributed througout the different boards and all of them were displaying the right voltage but the machine does not show any activity, nothing on the screen, no leds turned on the knobs, nothing at all. I believe is a problem on the CPU system but I don't have the way ( I wonder if anybody does) of testing it, rather than having an spare unit to exchange boards which, obviously, I don't. Any ideas or tests to do? and, if not, Does any of you know the spare part number to try to order it? Thanks in advance.
