daviswe Posted February 12, 2017 Share Posted February 12, 2017 (edited) I really like my Helix and the editor. I am a complete newbie with Line6 gear, so I have a lot of learning to do. I have been trying to figure out how to get a WAH to work. I put the Wah in a preset and it shows up in the editor (Chrome), but all I can get out of the pedal is volume. On my unit, the "EXP 1" is grayed out and "EXP 2" is bright. I suppose that means that the WAH should be on but it stays as volume. What am I missing? Thanks in advance for any input! duncann Posted February 12, 2017 Share Posted February 12, 2017 When adding a wah, the default controller for the wah's position parameter is EXP1. The default for a volume block is EXP2. The default bypass for both of these blocks is the onboard expression pedal toe-switch. So you'll need to toggle the toe-switch. It can be difficult to toggle this switch, so press hard.
