Jlectka1 Posted July 29, 2017 Share Posted July 29, 2017 I play gigs that are comfortably handled by a Mesa Express Plus 5:25. It's 25 watts are plenty for me. If I were to go to a powered speaker for my helix what would be a good size so that I'm not lacking for volume? Specific suggestions are welcome as well. Line 6? QSC? JBL? DunedinDragon Posted July 29, 2017 Share Posted July 29, 2017 Pretty much all of the powered speakers worth having are going to be in the range of the 550W to 1100W, so any would fit your needs. Some of the more popular ones are the Alto TS210 and EV ZLX12P on the low end, Yamaha DXR10, QSC K10, and Line 6 L3M on the high end.
