mikeh78
Has anyone else experienced an interference type noise and the sound cutting out when playing softly when using the preset "Fast Lane" or when using Blackface Lux Nrm with high gain? Line 6 support say they can't replicate the issue, but I don't have it with any other presets / models. Have tried changing cables, guitars and amps and I'm sure it's not those. I'm going JTV to Firehawk to a PA speaker via XLR output. Just wondered if it's only my unit or if anyone else gets this?
suedehead99
Sorry, I don't have your set up, but I wonder whether you have the noise gate on and it's a little bit too sensitive, hence the cutting out?
mikeh78
Thanks for the suggestion. I tried with just the amp model and no noise gate (nor any other modules on) and the sound is still cutting out. With the amp models off, the sound is fine, so I don't think it could be a hardware issue (I'm no expert).
mikeh78
I've uploaded some videos to YouTube, as I'm not sure how best to describe what I'm hearing :) Noise (Fast Lane preset): https://youtu.be/YEbrXhjgOCk Sound cutting out (Blackface Lux Nrm model only on FHFX) https://youtu.be/V5VITCVvb20 Blackface Lux Nrm model on HD300 for comparison (slight noise, no cutting out): https://youtu.be/cViAxKyyz-w
Root6t6
The fast lane preset is garbage. It is very garbled and sounds like the amp is broken. I've tried it on several units and it's the same. Sounds like digital clipping. Replace it with one of your own or one from the cloud.
